HAYLEIGH LONGMAN

"It’s apparent to me that the process of making the work is the therapeutic part. The coping mechanism used to combat anxiety for me during this time was creating. I moved back to my mums house as I could no long commit to rent in London, and decided to de-clutter and redecorate my room.

Trying to see it as a fresh start, I began to photograph some of the process. The nature of the circumstances enabled me to look around and think about what needed changing.I am interested in this space, and how when things are de-cluttered we can put on different glasses and view things in new ways.”
